“A Labor of Love” – Bacardi Global Travel Retail presents Gray Goose essences

Bacardi Global Travel Retail (GTR) is launching Gray Goose Essences All-Natural Flavored Vodka in select travel retail markets. The new line will be a key element of the company’s presence in the Virtual Travel Retail Trade Show.

Gray Goose Essences (30% ABV) offers three flavors – Strawberry and Lemongrass, White Peach and Rosemary, and Watermelon and Basil – which contain no artificial ingredients and are sugar, gluten and carbohydrate free.

According to Bacardi GTR, Essences were “born out of an increased desire for simple cocktails”. With a base of Gray Goose vodka, each is infused with cold distilled fruit and herbs, and available in a 1 liter bottle.

Ignacio Vázquez, Global Director of Retail Marketing for Bacardi, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Gray Goose Essences in retail; an innovation that presents a huge growth opportunity for the super premium vodka category.

“As travelers return from the pandemic, spritzes, mindful drinking, and in-home mixology are growing trends. Gray Goose Essences is the perfect travel buy that takes the guesswork out of mixing up light and delicious cocktails at home or on vacation, like the Gray Goose Essences Spritz with Tonic for a naturally vibrant, light and smooth tasting cocktail.

“We are confident that Essences will expand the super premium vodka category, recruiting new buyers and increasing basket spend for our retail partners. “

According to Bacardi GTR, the fresh ingredients for Essences come from countries around the world, including France, Spain, Thailand and Sri Lanka, and selected by Gray Goose cellar master François Thibault. The fruits are mixed with cold distilled plants and Gray Goose vodka, which is created from winter wheat from Picardy and water from Gensac-La-Pallue.

“Gray Goose Essences has been a labor of love for me and for the brand,” said Thibault.

Bacardi is a Platinum Partner of the five-day Virtual Travel Retail Expo, which begins Monday. Bacardi runs an on-stand contest with daily prizes for premium products from its portfolio.
