Dolly Parton is thrilled to announce the launch of her dog clothing line, Doggy Parton.

“‘Puppy Love’ was my very first record and 6 decades later my love for pets is stronger than ever,” she said in a statement obtained by Fox News Digital. “It inspired me to launch my own line of Doggy Parton clothing, accessories, toys and more with a little ‘Dolly’ twist. A portion of the proceeds will go to Willa B Farms, a shelter where animals in need find endless love Don’t we all need that?

The idea for Doggy Parton was born out of Parton’s love for all animals and his desire to transform their everyday objects with a little extra sparkle that would reflect the fun style and personality of the icon of country music.

The collection so far includes a denim and gingham print bandana, a cowgirl collared dress, a plush dog toy with microphone and rope, a crinkle plush dog toy in the shape of a pink butterfly and a sparkling pearl butterfly necklace.

Due to Parton not currently having a pet of his own, Doggy Parton’s face is Parton’s goddog, Billy the Kid, which is owned by his manager Danny Nozell. Billy the Kid has been seen with Parton on several occasions and is known to sit with her in meetings and interviews, and always loves when Parton dresses him up.

Parton’s love for animals not only inspired her to start designing new clothes and toys for other dogs, but also influenced the decision to donate a portion of the proceeds to Willa B Farms, a rescue shelter that makes sure no animals are turned away, including those that need to be rehabilitated and find their way to a forever home.

In addition to her current work with animals, Parton has worked to improve the lives of people around the world since her first appearance in the industry. The icon launched the Imagination Library, a book distribution program that sends high-quality books to children from birth to age five, in 1995.
