Often spotted leading fashion shows or sitting front row at global fashion brands, K-pop idols like BLACKPINK’s Jennie, BTS’s Kim Taehyung aka V have become notable fashion icons. Key
The singer and rapper of the K-pop group Shinee is one of the idols who has also made a name for himself in the field of fashion. The singer believes in asexual fashion and even wore a sparkly skirt outfit for the music video for Don’t Call Me. In addition to wearing flowy clothes, Key also extends her fashion to her creative endeavors. The 30-year-old rapper recently released his mini album Bad Love which saw him perform with cosmic spacesuits and 80s-inspired disco vibes.
Jenny
Blackpink’s Jennie often attends fashion shows. More recently, the 26-year-old star was spotted at the Chanel show for Paris Fashion Week. The K-pop idol was spotted front row in a childish look at Virginie Viard’s pre-fall show. Chanel brand ambassador since 2017, Jennie wore the French fashion house’s all-black look.
Jennie was also spotted at the exclusive Jacquemus fashion show in Hawaii. The singer wore an all-pink outfit by the French fashion designer that showcased his tropical-inspired Le Splash collection.
Kim Taehyung
Apart from being part of the biggest musical group in the world, V aka Taehyung is also a fashion enthusiast. The 26-year-old and other BTS members showed off Virgil Abloh’s Fall/Winter 2021 menswear last year. Jin, Suga, j-Hope, RM, Jimin, Jungkook and V each donned the exquisite Abloh-designed pieces as the K-pop members navigated an industrial space filled with Vuitton-clad models.

Kai, the lead singer of K-pop group EXO, has also made a name for himself in the fashion world. Apart from his smooth dance moves and fluid singing skills, Kai can also pass as a model on a fashion show. The global brand ambassador of Gucci modeled the Italian fashion house‘s clothes in his own creative way.
CL
Lee Chae-rin aka CL has become the first K-pop star with Blackpink’s Rose to grace the red carpet at one of the biggest fashion events of the year Met Gala 2021. The 31-year-old former rapper of girl group 2NE1 wore a blue denim coat over white briefs, designed by Alexander Wang.
