“It took a year to get it right, but it’s worth it! One lesson I learned from this is that if I can do it as a solo owner using my own savings, the big brands have no excuse.

In her Instagram post, the body positivity influencer shared a selection of snaps showing The Hike Life fleeces and windbreakers on various models as well as herself on hikes.

“I feel like I haven’t communicated properly over the past two weeks about what is going on,” she said.

“When the sizing arrived, all the sizing looked absolutely perfect; 6-8, 10-12, but 18-20 and 16-18 were just too small, ”she explained.

“It’s not even that they fit well, they just weren’t true to size, so I decided to cut the size down. That’s why a week before launch I went in and said the sizing is now 6-8, 10-12, 12-14 and 14-16 and then 16-18 and 18-20 are made correctly and true to their actual size and drop them as soon as I can fit them in.
