We Join Penn Relays as Exclusive Footwear and Apparel Sponsor in Multi-Year Partnership

PORTLAND, Oregon. and PHILADELPHIA CREAM, February 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ –Today, global performance brand On and the Penn Relays, one of the biggest and oldest traditions in athletics, announced a partnership making On the exclusive footwear and of event clothing. Returning from a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 safety restrictions, the Penn Relays presented by Toyota will take place on April 28-30 to historical Franklin Field on the University of Pennsylvania Campus. On’s multi-year collaboration marks a new era of innovation, community and culture at the Penn Relays, as the brand will have a significant presence at Carnival going forward.

Since its inception in 1895, Penn Relays has brought together athletes from across the country and around the world to compete in the three-day competition. Together, On and the Penn Relays will reimagine the look of this historic competition for athletes, coaches, spectators and philadelphia cream community by leading with the mission to ignite the human spirit through movement and community.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the On brand in a large pop-up store in Carnival Village. All the latest apparel and footwear will be on display for athletes and fans to experience the brand’s innovative approach to sport. On’s presence, both at Penn Park for the athletes and at Carnival Village for the fans, will be built around celebrating all of the competitors and creating spaces for the teams to be together. We will bring movement and non-stop energy to the race weekend.

The 126and The Penn Relays race will remain a three-day event with some schedule changes and the addition of an elite-level Olympic development program. The Olympic development program will be spread across the Friday and Saturday calendar, with a concentrated session on Friday evening highlighted by the men’s 4 x thousand relay and the women’s 4 x relay 800m The relay and the addition of individual Olympic development hurdles and sprint events on Saturday afternoon as well as the finals of the American High School and College Championships.
