Zendaya brought high-powered glamor to her latest covergirl moment for Vogue ItalyJuly 2022 issue.
The Emmy-winning actress posed for Elizaveta Porodina for the magazine cover in a sparkling silver Valentino mini dress. The couture piece featured a deep neckline, complemented by all-over crystal embroidery and a diamond, emerald and platinum Bulgari necklace from the brand’s Alta Gioielleria “Eden Il Giardino delle Meraviglie” collection for a shimmering statement. Adding to the allure of her look was shimmering dark purple eyeshadow – similar to the vibrant makeup worn by her “Euphoria” character, Rue.
Elsewhere in the op-ed, styled by Law Roach, Zendaya posed in a Del Core metallic pleated dress. The sleeveless piece was enhanced with a Bulgari sapphire and diamond pendant necklace. She also donned a white lace Paco Rabanne top and bow slit skirt, as well as a crystal-embellished fringe dress by The Attico, all paired with sparkling Bulgari jewelry.
In her accompanying interview with Jordan Anderson, the “Spider Man” star also touched on a host of topics, from being considered a Gen Zer to her love of fashion.
I have always loved clothes and they were in many ways a tool of expression. Fashion taught me a lot about myself and how to be much more fearless in different ways. It has also helped me in other areas of my life, whether in business or even as an actress, to be more fearless and not be so preoccupied with other people’s views on what to do. what I look like or what I wear.
The star also shared her thoughts on how audiences have connected with her acting performances over the years.
“People are finding their points of connection with these characters that I feel incredibly lucky to portray and in that they feel very connected to me and they’ve been able to heal and grow and learn and mend parts of their own past, and that to me is invaluable,” she said. “It gives me a purpose.”
As for footwear, the former “Shake It Up” actress has been spotted in strappy sandals, boots and pumps from Jimmy Choo, Roger Vivier and Casadei. She also frequently collaborates with fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and as a brand ambassador for Valentino, Bulgari, Lancôme and Covergirl Cosmetics. The actress has even ventured into design, having launched her affordable clothing line, Daya by Zendaya, in 2016.
